PiP iT is delighted to announce that it is closing off its current funding round.
We started in September, working with FinTech Circle and Angels Den, with a target of £500,000. Through angels in the UK and Ireland we now have £250,000 committed and an institutional investor has come in to take up the balance. We will be announcing the investor in the new year.
This is a tremendous end of year for us and puts in a position to move from start up to scale up in 2018.
Although it is close to finishing up for the year, we have started to expand the team and will have our first non-founders hired in January.
The fund raising has taken a lot of our time over the last few months, but we have still managed to sign some great new partnership deals, so we will have lots to announce early in the new year.
